Clinical Supervision is a process in which Mental Health Professionals and Counsellors receive guidance and feedback from a more experienced Clinician or Supervisor. This type of supervision is used to ensure that the Supervisee is providing appropriate and effective services to their clients. During Clinical Supervision, the Supervisor provides guidance on clinical skills, techniques, and approaches, as well as offering advice on ethical and legal issues. Additionally, the Supervisor may provide feedback on the Supervisee’s performance and help the Supervisee to identify areas for improvement. Clinical Supervision is an important part of professional development for Mental Health Professionals and Counsellors, as it helps them to develop and improve their clinical skills and increase their knowledge. What Should You Know About Clinical Supervision?

My approach to Clinical Supervision is collaborative - creating a safe and non-judgemental space for you to learn and grow professionally and personally.  We will work together on your role as a Psychotherapist holistically. Components of our sessions will include a combination of Self-reporting (Case studies) and Case Conceptualization (exploring your understanding of your client, assessments, interventions and modalities, legal requirements as applicable).

Our work together will insure you meet the requirements as detailed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Clinical Supervision sessions available are Individual and Dyadic. For Group Supervision of 3-6, please contact me directly. Group Sessions are available virtually.
